18 December 2010. I revisited Telok Pelandok in Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan for sunrise photography. This was in conjunction with SMDO's 1st Family Day in Tiara Beach Resort.

Taman Rimba Ampang

5 December 2010. My Family and I took a stroll in Taman RImba Ampang (Ampang Forest Park). It is a lowland rainforest; there is no need for hill hiking. Therefore, it is good venue for family picnic. Shallow stream gently flows through the park for relaxing water walks, kids dip or just sitting in that cool stream. As usual, whilst my family enjoy dipping in the stream, i took the opportunity for a photography session. Enjoy...

Telok Pelandok Port Dickson

17 November 2010, Eidul Adha. It means Festival of Sacrifice in Islam which began on the evening of 16 November 2010 (after sunset) and last for three days. I took this opportunity i.e. one day public holiday by visiting my friend, NorAzmanShah, hometown in Port Dickson. In the evening he took me to Telok Pelandok, a fishermen village, for sunset photography. The view was amazing and worth revisit:

Working Trip to Jakarta

2 November to 4 November 2010, I had the opportunity to join Affin Investment Bank Berhad, Stockbroking Division on its working trip to Jakarta, seeking investment opportunities available for Malaysians there. I guess, one of the most exciting and memorable experiences was the chance to meet the President Director of Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bapak Ito Warsito:

Welcome Statute or Tugu Selamat Datang in Jakarta Raya is definitely a mesmerizing sight from The Grand Hyatt; unfortunately, i was challenged by non-stop rain throughout my visit and that was the reason i got this view:

On the last night, I had the opportunity to dine with my GSM-UPM colleague, Angga and his newly wed wife. We had our dinner at Bandar Djakarta, Ancol, one of the famous seafood restaurants in Jakarta, the foods were delicious, the ambiance was fantastic and the price was cheap...even though there was an entrance fee. Highly recommended and definitely worth revisit the next time in Jakarta:

My Convo - UPM 34th Convocation

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

First, all praise be to Allah, the Almighty, on whom ultimately we depend for sustenance and guidance. With His blessings, I was able to complete my MBA at GSM-UPM and awarded GSM Best Student Award 2010 – MBA (Finance). Indeed, without His help and will, nothing will be accomplished.Second, my sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the lecturers who have taught and shared their knowledge and wisdom with me especially to Assc. Prof. Dr Zulkarnain Muhamad Sori (Financial Statement Analysis & Final Project Paper), Prof. Dr. Mad Nasir Samsuddin (Managerial Economics), Assc. Prof. Zainal Kidam (Organizational Behaviour), Prof. Dr. Shamsher (International Finance), Prof Dr. Zainal Abidin Mohamed (Strategic Management), Dr. Rozanah (Business Law), Dr. Chen Chaw Min (Investment Analysis), Dr. Taufik Hassan (Financial Management) and those who are not mentioned here whose guidance, teachings, perseverance and constructive comments were invaluable. You are always in my prayers.

Third, this MBA is especially dedicated to my late father, Hj. Abd Hadi bin Hj. Abd Aziz, who passing during my first trimester and until his last dying days, never wavered in inspiring me in the pursuit and quest for knowledge. To my late mother, Hjh. Alijah binti Hj. Idris, I know that I have made you proud!

Fourth, my deepest appreciation goes to my wife and children for their endless love, patience, support and understanding. Thank you for bearing with me and my mood swings (especially during exams) and for being my greatest supporters. To my wife, Siti Ainah Bt. Buang, thank you for not letting me give up and giving me all the encouragement. To my children, Alya, Anis, Adam and Adib, I did this to inspire you all in the hope that you too would strive for the pursuit of knowledge and able to continue my dreams. We did it together!

Fifth, to my brothers and sisters, especially, Tuan Hj Zaidan Abd Hadi A.M.N whom will and always has been my greatest inspiration, thank you for your prayers, support and motivation. I am also indebted to my colleagues at Affin Fund Management Berhad, thank you for your support and understanding. Special thanks, tribute and appreciation goes out to all those who contributed in one-way or another.

Sixth, to my GSM colleagues, friends, teammates and group-mates, I am pleased, glad and honored to have studied, discussed and laughed together, especially, Hisham, Mazzia, Awis, Nelly, Izham, Samantha, Elyna, Pik Yeen, Amalia, Angga, Diana, Syarina, Farah, Pit Kang, See Nie, Syakir, RosMaria, Hairani, and Yan Hui Yoong. Thank you and all the best to you all.

Last but not least, my sincere apologies for not acknowledging everyone concerned as they too many too mention, who have given me supports and advice to the successful completion of my MBA. THANK YOU.

Zaidah & Abd Jalil - 30th Wedding Anniversary 10.10.10

10.10.10, tarikh yang penuh bermakna bagi sesetengah individu, ada yang berebut2 melangsungkang perkahwinan, melakukan sesuatu bersama keluarga yang mana akan meninggalkan seribu kenangan di dalam hidup mereka. Begitu juga, kekanda aku, Zaidah dan suaminya yang tercinta, Abd Jalil, rumah tangga yang mereka dirikan 30 tahun (10.10.1980) lalu masih tersergam kukuh dan indah, kebahagiaan tidak luntur sekalipun telah sekian lama. Sambutan sederhana, hasil buah fikiran anakanda mereka Fadhlina & Firdaus diraikan dirumah aku. Doa kami, semoga Allah S.W.T. terus merahmati dan meberkati rumah tangga mu dan memperolehi kebahagiaan yang hakiki...Amin Ya Robbal'alamin...
